In its afterschool academic support, TI Communities implements a literacy enhancement curriculum and has been thrilled to see an over 30% improvement in reading proficiency in the early outcomes gathered. In 2021, we provided over 1,600 events focused on education, serving adults & children.

In 2021, TI Communities offered over 1,000 nutrition oriented events, provided nearly 66,000 free meals onsite, over 520 program participant hours of fitness education, and over 580 health screenings. We are proud that 98% of residents participating in health events have reported increased health knowledge as a result of their attendance.

As of December 2021, TI Communities had reduced annual crime by over 45%, creating a meaningful impact for our residents across the country. In 2021, over 900 residents participated in safety and security programming onsite.

In 2021, over 5,800 participants attended over 560 community building events with 96% of residents reporting they feel more connected to their community due to the programs offered. Since its inception, TI Communities has provided over 27,000 program participation hours of community building enrichment.

Our newest program pillar, sustainability focused programming, has steadily increased since first launched in 2018. In 2021, over 1,500 participants attended over 400, nearly doubling the number of green events offered year-over-year.
