President
Christine Schoellhorn
As president of TI Communities, Christine partners with the principals of Turner Impact Capital to advance the organization’s mission, vision, core values, strategic priorities, and growth goals. Ms. Schoellhorn was hand-selected to build and lead a team of socially minded individuals, leverage technology, and focus talent and solutions to enrich communities for working individuals and families in our country’s most at-risk neighborhoods.
Ms. Schoellhorn successfully launched TI Communities in October 2017, leveraging her previously-held leadership roles with Steadfast Companies, The Irvine Company, BRE Properties, and Greystar. Her track record of implementing change with measurable results and leading organizations through growth and continuous improvement was an ideal fit for the needs of a start-up property management firm.
Ms. Schoellhorn received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graziadio Graduate School of Management at Pepperdine University and holds a Certified Property Manager accreditation from IREM. Ms. Schoellhorn possesses a keen understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. Ms. Schoellhorn is known as an inspiring leader who can work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions. Her demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems combined with her relentless commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to solving business problems, and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally, have proven successful throughout her career.
Senior Vice President
Carrie Polonsky
Carrie oversees development of TI Communities’ talent services initiatives and leads the execution of the Company’s staffing strategy by developing programs for employment and recruitment, market salary compensation, and performance training. She also designs and leads training programs in management, technology and professional development.
Carrie has 25 years of multifamily property management experience, with previous roles at Planned Property Management, AIMCO, Advanced Management Company, and Steadfast Companies. She has been a speaker at various multifamily housing events such as IREM, Apartment Associations, and the NAA Education Conference, and serves on an educational committee for a local apartment association and the Advisory Board for the industry’s only Social Media Summit.
Carrie holds a BA in Education from Purdue University.
Vice President
Paige Velazquez
As Vice President of Operations, Paige plans, directs, and oversees all property operations for TI Communities, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient and effective systems to support the Company’s mission. Paige brings over 19 years of diverse multifamily property management experience, including experience in operations, acquisitions, training, renovations, recruiting, and large-scale event planning.
Previously, she held roles at Price Brothers, Gaines Investment Trust, and Steadfast Companies. Paige attended Tarleton State University, was a chairperson for the Food for Kids program in Stephenville, Texas, and has a heart for serving our most at-risk communities.
Highly regarded by her teams for her ability to celebrate individual talents and leverage unique contributions for the greater good, Paige is known for her vivacious spirit, leadership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Paige relentlessly pursues excellence for herself and those around her.
Vice President
Kate Hetherington
Kate is responsible for broad impact efforts at TI Communities, including the delivery and reporting of interest and needs-based programs, events, and initiatives, as well as establishing partnerships with community-minded organizations to scale additional resources and services to the Company’s properties.
Before joining the TI team, Kate spent 10 years working in the nonprofit space, most recently for an impact education nonprofit where she spearheaded fundraising efforts. She worked closely with corporations, foundations, and individuals to align charitable giving priorities with organizational strategies to move the needle in impact. Kate also worked with external institutions to design and implement innovative engagement opportunities to connect corporate volunteers with the community, as well as coordinate events to raise funds for, and awareness of, the organization’s mission.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma.

Daniel Molitor
Dan oversees the operations, performance, and strategic direction of a multi-state portfolio. As a proven leader, Dan brings extensive analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level experience to TI Communities. Dan’s fierce commitment to developing his team is demonstrated through his effective and motivational leadership. Dan joined TI Communities to further his personal mission of making a measurable difference in the lives of those around him and this dedication is the cornerstone of everything he does. His consistent track record of delivering bottom-line results combined with his ability to develop teams and deploy resources has had tremendous impact at TI Communities.
Dan’s experience spans the multi-family, commercial and retail industries. Prior to joining TI Communities, Dan held leadership roles at Planned Property Management and the Homestead Group. Dan is a licensed managing broker for the state of Illinois and holds a business degree from Northern Illinois University.
National Leasing Director
Rose Burgess
As Regional Leasing Director for TI Communities, Rose oversees the execution of successful leasing and marketing programs across the portfolio. During her nearly 30 years in the multi-family industry, she has worked for The Donaldson Group, Park Center Management, and Mark Wrinkler Management, holding roles from Leasing Manager to Director of Leasing, before joining TI Communities.
Rose’s expertise includes team development, sales and leasing, customer service, and relationship building. Rose holds her NALP certification from the National Apartment Association and has continually performed as an award-winning team member in her various roles. With a joy that’s contagious and an enthusiasm for life, Rose is a bright light wherever she goes.

Grace Hwu
Grace brings over 10 years of combined experience in Talent Acquisition and retail operations to her position at TI Communities. She applies her knowledge of executive search, agency, and high volume recruitment to ensure TI Communities is attracting and retaining the industry’s top talent.
Overseeing the recruitment process, Grace helps train and educate managers and is passionate about making a positive impact through people.
She has previously worked for Steadfast Companies, Advantage Solutions, McDermott and Bull Executive Search, and Kaplan Subsidiaries.
Senior Associate
Justin Deodutt
Justin manages all technology initiatives at TI Communities. He is passionate about strategic growth and uses his industry-crafted analytical skills to streamline systems and deliver quantifiable results. Justin is dedicated to meeting the needs of all community stakeholders through his attention to detail, nuanced understanding of industry needs, and skill-building relational capacity.
Justin spent thirteen years accruing experience at every level of multifamily property management, before transitioning into Corporate IT and Systems Administration for the past six. His diverse and extensive experience allows him to uniquely leverage technology to meet ever-evolving business needs in a dynamic industry.
Justin holds a BA in Psychology from Arizona State University and an active Real Estate License. He has previously worked for: Steadfast Living, Greystar, and Bridge Property Management.
Associate Regional Director
Erika Garcia
Erika is the Enrichment Programs Recruiter, sourcing and onboarding Resident Professionals to facilitate the onsite enrichment programs for TI Communities.
Starting her career in 2009 as a Leasing Consultant, Erika’s early professional experiences ignited a passion for customer service and helping others. Outside of the office she enjoys giving back to her local community by volunteering at food banks throughout North Texas and spending time with her husband and three kids.
Customer Relations Manager
Taylor Stainbrook
Taylor manages Customer Relations for TI Communities, handling resident calls, assisting in the Onboarding process, and supervising the corporate office. With over 25 years of customer service experience, Taylor is uniquely gifted in gracefully communicating with others respectfully and effectively. Her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart are evident in all she does.
Born and raised in Texas, Taylor has held roles for several real estate investment groups as well as with the City of Grapevine. Taylor holds an associates in Business from Eastern New Mexico University and is licensed in real estate.

LeShay Hoppe
As Business Transformation Manager, LeShay works hard to make sure that payroll, HR, and risk management processes go smoothly. With eight years of property management experience, she’s had roles from Leasing Consultant to Property Manager. She has previously worked for Spanos Corporation and Sentinel Real Estate Corporation.
LeShay has a BA from Arkansas State University, is a diligent worker, and valuable addition to the TI Communities family!
Senior Associate
Tremelle Moore
As Project Manager at TI Communities, Tremelle specializes in delinquency tracking, in person training, onsite support and assisting with various ongoing operational projects. Tremelle’s onsite background provides unique insights into the day-to-day operations and implementation management for all team members.
Tremelle has 3 years of Multifamily Property Management experience, all with TI Communities. His passion for customer service and commitment to excellence have served as the catalysts for his quick ascension from Leasing Consultant to Assistant Community Director, to Community Director and now as Project Manager.
Senior Marketing Associate
Wendy Moreno
Wendy is the Marketing Coordinator at TI Communities. She is dedicated to driving impactful initiatives that foster community engagement and unity. She plays a pivotal role in creating marketing materials for our Impact events, including event flyers and calendars.
Having graduated from NYU Stern with a degree in Marketing, Wendy brings expertise to her role. Before joining the TI Communities’ team, she spent her time as a freelance marketing consultant, where she honed her skills in website design and developed effective marketing strategies for aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Wendy’s passion lies in utilizing her marketing skills to make a positive impact and support others. She finds great fulfillment in bringing communities together, and resonates deeply with the values at our company. She is thrilled to contribute her expertise and continue growing with such a purpose-driven organization.
Impact Specialist
Ysamar Teurel
As the Impact Specialist, Ysamar assists with the growth and implementation of the Resident Professional Program. Oversees local and national recruitment of Resident Educators for TI Communities properties and works to design diverse programming that meets the needs of residents.
Before joining TI, Ysamar spent 10 years in the non-profit sector. Most recently, managing the operations of a nationally recognized arts-to-work force intervention program for adjudicated youth in Dallas and Tarrant counties.
Ysamar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from the University of North Texas and a Project Management Certification from Southern Methodist University.
