As president of TI Communities, Christine partners with the principals of Turner Impact Capital to advance the organization’s mission, vision, core values, strategic priorities, and growth goals. Ms. Schoellhorn was hand-selected to build and lead a team of socially minded individuals, leverage technology, and focus talent and solutions to enrich communities for working individuals and families in our country’s most at-risk neighborhoods.
Ms. Schoellhorn successfully launched TI Communities in October 2017, leveraging her previously-held leadership roles with Steadfast Companies, The Irvine Company, BRE Properties, and Greystar. Her track record of implementing change with measurable results and leading organizations through growth and continuous improvement was an ideal fit for the needs of a start-up property management firm.
Ms. Schoellhorn received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graziadio Graduate School of Management at Pepperdine University and holds a Certified Property Manager accreditation from IREM. Ms. Schoellhorn possesses a keen understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. Ms. Schoellhorn is known as an inspiring leader who can work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions. Her demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems combined with her relentless commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to solving business problems, and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally, have proven successful throughout her career.
Senior Vice President Talent Services
Carrie oversees development of TI Communities’ talent services initiatives and leads the execution of the Company’s staffing strategy by developing programs for employment and recruitment, market salary compensation, and performance training. She also designs and leads training programs in management, technology and professional development.
Carrie has 25 years of multifamily property management experience, with previous roles at Planned Property Management, AIMCO, Advanced Management Company, and Steadfast Companies. She has been a speaker at various multifamily housing events such as IREM, Apartment Associations, and the NAA Education Conference, and serves on an educational committee for a local apartment association and the Advisory Board for the industry’s only Social Media Summit.
Carrie holds a BA in Education from Purdue University.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Lori plans, directs, and oversees all property operations at TI Communities, ensuring development and implementation of efficient and effective systems to support the Company’s mission. She also oversees risk management, identifies and analyzes various risks to develop controls and contingency plans for the Company.
Lori brings over 20 years of property management experience to her position at TI Communities, including experience in residential asset management, operations, training, sales and marketing. Previously, she held roles at Steadfast Companies, Investment Concepts, Legacy Partners and JH Real Estate Partners.
Vice President of Facilities
Jonny is responsible for maintaining TI Communities’ high standards for safety, appearance, asset preservation, preventive maintenance, construction management and operations. As leader of the facilities group, Jonny is responsible for training maintenance personnel while directing and managing a wide range of multifamily construction and maintenance-related tasks.
Jonny brings more than 15 years of diverse experience to the position, with specialization in all aspects of maintenance operations including training, emergency preparedness, systems operations and more.
Previously, he held leadership roles at Steadfast Companies, Asset Plus and AIMCO.
Dan oversees the operations, performance, and strategic direction of a multi-state portfolio. As a proven leader, Dan brings extensive analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level experience to TI Communities. Dan’s fierce commitment to developing his team is demonstrated through his effective and motivational leadership. Dan joined TI Communities to further his personal mission of making a measurable difference in the lives of those around him and this dedication is the cornerstone of everything he does. His consistent track record of delivering bottom-line results combined with his ability to develop teams and deploy resources has had tremendous impact at TI Communities.
Dan’s experience spans the multi-family, commercial and retail industries. Prior to joining TI Communities, Dan held leadership roles at Planned Property Management and the Homestead Group. Dan is a licensed managing broker for the state of Illinois and holds a business degree from Northern Illinois University.
Vice President of Accounting
Marshundria is the Senior Controller for TI Communities, and leads the Accounting team with humility and a fierce commitment to superiority and precision. With 10 years of property management accounting experience, Marshundria is responsible for all accounting and tax matters, financial reporting, internal controls and functions for all of TI Communities properties and operations.
During her time in property management accounting, Marshundria also held roles with The Related Companies and Greystar. Marshundria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tisa acts as the graphic designer for TI Communities and plays a vital role in all marketing, earning her the title “Art Official Intelligence”. Her keen eye, superior work ethic, and attention to detail make her an exceptional addition to the team.
Prior to joining Turner Impact, Ms. Goehner was a Showroom Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO at jenny chase inc. showroom where she maintained over 250 active international and domestic accounts. Ms. Goehner is involved in her community, and volunteers at the VA Center every Thanksgiving. She graduated from Washington State University (B.A., Marketing).
Vice President, Operations
As Director of Enrichment Programs, Paige is responsible for championing the TI mission to enrich the lives of our residents and build a sense of community. Bringing over 16 years of diverse multifamily property management experience, Paige held previous roles at Price Brothers, Gaines Investment Trust, and Steadfast Companies. Her experience includes leadership roles within operations, acquisitions, training, renovations, recruiting, and large-scale event planning.
Paige attended Tarleton State University, was a chairperson for the Food for Kids program in Stephenville, Texas, and has a heart for serving our most at-risk communities. Highly regarded by her teams for her ability to celebrate individual talents and leverage unique contributions for the greater good, Paige is known for her vivacious spirit, leadership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Paige relentlessly pursues excellence for herself and those around her.
Grace brings over 10 years of combined experience in Talent Acquisition and retail operations to her position at TI Communities. She applies her knowledge of executive search, agency, and high volume recruitment to ensure TI Communities is attracting and retaining the industry’s top talent.
Overseeing the recruitment process, Grace helps train and educate managers and is passionate about making a positive impact through people.
She has previously worked for Steadfast Companies, Advantage Solutions, McDermott and Bull Executive Search, and Kaplan Subsidiaries.
Partnership Manager, Enrichment Programs
Kate recently joined TI Communities as the Partnership Manager of Enrichment Programs. She cultivates and stewards partnerships with the community-minded organization to bring additional resources and services directly to communities.
Before joining our team, Kate spent nearly the last 10 years working in the nonprofit space, working most recently for an impact education nonprofit where she spearheaded fundraising efforts. She worked closely with corporations, foundations, and individuals to align charitable giving priorities with organizational strategies to move the needled in impact. Kate also worked closely with external institutions to design and implement innovative engagement opportunities to connect corporate volunteers with the community, as well as coordinate events to raise funds for and awareness of the organization’s mission.
When not trying to become the next professional DIYer, Kate enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
Shantarica is the Property Accountant for TI Communities Texas properties in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. With 6 years of experience in property management accounting, Shantarica has also worked for RealManage in their accounting department.
With a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of North Texas, Shantarica is a gifted partner to her communities in managing their finances and achieving financial success.
As one of our District Managers in the Texas market, Brandi oversees the operations of the TI Communities properties in the San Antonio. She is known for taking on challenged communities and consistently stabilizing the asset with her extensive experience in due diligence, affordable, conventional, lease up and “value add” properties in Texas. Brandi has over 15 years of Multifamily Property Management experience, with previous roles at Milestone Management, Allied Orion Group and Steadfast Companies. She is extremely passionate about enriching our team member and resident lives with a “boots on the ground” mentality. Brandi holds the CAM and CAPS certification from the National Apartment Association.
Senior Project Manager
Erika is the Enrichment Programs Recruiter, sourcing and onboarding Resident Professionals to facilitate the onsite enrichment programs for TI Communities.
Starting her career in 2009 as a Leasing Consultant, Erika’s early professional experiences ignited a passion for customer service and helping others. Outside of the office she enjoys giving back to her local community by volunteering at food banks throughout North Texas and spending time with her husband and three kids.
Senior Project Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the property management industry, Olivia not only brings industry experience, but an ambitious drive and excitement to the facilities and operations teams at TI Communities. As Senior Project Manager, she oversees the risk management department and works closely with operations for new initiatives, along with PMS software changes and updates.
Prior to joining TI Communities, Olivia held leadership roles at Trinity Property Consultants, TenantAccess and Steadfast with titles such as Community Director, Property Management Liason, Coaching Mentor and much more. Olivia also holds her Real Estate license in the state of Texas since 2010.
Administrative Payroll Support
As part-time administrative support for payroll, LeShay works hard to make sure the payroll process goes smoothly. With eight years of property management experience, she’s had roles from Leasing Consultant to Property Manager. She has previously worked for Spanos Corporation and Sentinel Real Estate Corporation.
LeShay has a BA from Arkansas State University, is a diligent worker, and valuable addition to the TI Communities family!
Customer Relations Manager
Taylor manages Customer Relations for TI Communities, handling resident calls, assisting in the Onboarding process, and supervising the corporate office. With over 25 years of customer service experience, Taylor is uniquely gifted in gracefully communicating with others respectfully and effectively. Her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart are evident in all she does.
Born and raised in Texas, Taylor has held roles for several real estate investment groups as well as with the City of Grapevine. Taylor holds an associates in Business from Eastern New Mexico University and is licensed in real estate.
National Coordinator, Enrichment Programs
As the National Program Coordinator for TI Communities, Shelby Lott supports and manages the events conducted by the Enrichment Team professionals. Shelby is a proud Dallas, TX native and has over 10 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, including being the founder and CEO of her own. She has a passion for working with communities that are underserved and creating opportunities for others.
She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelors in English with a Creative Writing Specialization and a minor in Human Rights.
As Project Manager at TI Communities, Lia contributes to new acquisitions as well as various ongoing operational projects. Lia’s background onsite provides unique insights into feasibility and change management for onsite team members.
Lia has five years of property management experience. Prior to joining TI Communities, Lia was with Steadfast Companies in an onsite position. Lia holds a BS in Criminal Justice and an MA in Legal Studies from Texas State University. Lia is also a certified paralegal and mediator. In her spare time, Lia can be found petting her own cat or volunteering at a shelter for homeless cats. Lia also enjoys drawing, painting, and writing.
Senior Property Accountant
Rachel is the Property Accountant for TI Communities’ Maryland, Nevada and Texas properties. With over 10 years experience in accounting and audit and 5 years experience in property management, Rachel has also held roles at Ryder Systems, Inc., Bealls, Inc., and Icon Management. Rachel has a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University.
Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to getting the job done provides the support the Accounting team and properties need in order to continue to achieve operational and financial excellence.
Regional Leasing Director
As Regional Leasing Director for TI Communities, Rose oversees the execution of successful leasing and marketing programs across the portfolio. During her nearly 30 years in the multi-family industry, she has worked for The Donaldson Group, Park Center Management, and Mark Wrinkler Management, holding roles from Leasing Manager to Director of Leasing, before joining TI Communities.
Rose’s expertise includes team development, sales and leasing, customer service, and relationship building. Rose holds her NALP certification from the National Apartment Association and has continually performed as an award-winning team member in her various roles. With a joy that’s contagious and an enthusiasm for life, Rose is a bright light wherever she goes.
Justin manages all technology initiatives at TI Communities. He is passionate about strategic growth and uses his industry-crafted analytical skills to streamline systems and deliver quantifiable results. Justin is dedicated to meeting the needs of all community stakeholders through his attention to detail, nuanced understanding of industry needs, and skill-building relational capacity.
Justin spent thirteen years accruing experience at every level of multifamily property management, before transitioning into Corporate IT and Systems Administration for the past six. His diverse and extensive experience allows him to uniquely leverage technology to meet ever-evolving business needs in a dynamic industry.
Justin holds a BA in Psychology from Arizona State University and an active Real Estate License. He has previously worked for: Steadfast Living, Greystar, and Bridge Property Management.
As Regional Director for the Texas market, Phylicia oversees the operations of the TI Communities properties in Dallas and Houston. With a passion for servant leadership, Phylicia has over 15 years of experience managing all phases of commercial and multi-family assets at a single and multiple site volumes including, but not limited to, new construction, building renovations, due diligence projects and subsidized housing programs all in a high-rise, mid-rise and garden style communities. Her commitment to operational excellence and desire to invest in people have proven successful in her career.
